What is Insta Trace, and how is it different from Studio?
Insta Trace follows the shapes and colors of artwork you upload and turns them into editable SVG paths. It works best with logos, illustrations, and line drawings. Studio creates new artwork from your prompts or reference images. Insta Trace automatically detects whether to vectorize in color or black and white, and chooses the colors for you. Open Change vectorization mode if you want to override the choice. Transparent backgrounds are also available.
Can I try Insta Trace for free? Are SVG downloads included?
Yes. Sign in with a free account to upload artwork, vectorize it, and see the result. SVG downloads require an active paid plan. Insta Trace and SVG downloads are free with Starter, Creator, and Pro.
What happens when I use all my credits?
Your credits automatically refresh at the start of each new billing cycle. If you need more credits before your next renewal, you can renew early to restart your billing cycle or upgrade to a higher plan anytime from the pricing page. Insta Trace is free with your paid subscription, so you can keep vectorizing and downloading SVGs while your subscription is active, even with no credits left.
Can I use the vectors commercially?
Yes! All vectors you generate include full commercial licensing rights with no attribution required. Use them in client projects, products, marketing materials, or sell them as part of your designs.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Absolutely! Cancel your subscription at any time directly from your account settings. You'll maintain full access to all features until the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my vectors after I cancel?
Your saved Studio creations remain in your account, and files you have already downloaded remain yours to use. Insta Trace SVG downloads require an active paid subscription. If you cancel, you can continue downloading vectorized artwork until your paid billing period ends; after that, you can still vectorize images and view your results for free.
How does the credit system work?
Studio generations and credit-based tools use the credits shown before you generate. Insta Trace is free to try: everyone can vectorize images and view the results. SVG downloads are free with an active paid subscription.
What is the credit pack?
The credit pack is a one-time purchase of 10 credits for $3 — no subscription required. Credits are added to your balance immediately and never expire. You can buy as many packs as you need. Credit packs do not unlock Insta Trace SVG downloads; those are free with an active paid subscription.
What file format do I receive?
All vectors are delivered as SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files. SVGs are infinitely scalable, work with all design software, and maintain perfect quality at any size.
Can I modify the generated vectors?
Yes! You have complete freedom to edit, customize, and modify any vector you create. Open them in Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Inkscape, or any vector editing software.
How long does generation take?
Most vectors are generated in just a few seconds. Complex designs may take up to 30 seconds. You'll receive a notification when your vector is ready.
